Madeleine joined Smolka Law Group as an associate attorney in 2025. Madeleine received her Juris Doctor from University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
While in law school, Madeleine externed for a Judge in the Domestic Relations Division. Through this opportunity, Madeleine gained valuable experience and observed firsthand the impact that skilled and empathetic representation can have on a family.
Madeleine additionally was a part of meaningful legislative reform by working to help create and pass the “Summary of Rights for Safer Homes” bill (HB5550 and SB3652), which works to inform survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault of legal protections.
Prior to joining Smolka Law Group as an associate, Madeleine was a law clerk for Smolka Law Group during law school and while preparing for the Bar Exam.
Madeleine uses her experience to bring a knowledgeable, thoughtful approach to each case.
